Dasha Birukova

Dasha Birukova is a writer and a curator. She received her art history degree from the Russian State University for the Humanities and her degree in film studies from the Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK). She specialized in experimental films, video and media art. Birukova curated a number of exhibitions and programmes, including “New Media” programme at the National Center for Contemporary Arts (Moscow), the Festival of Media Art “VideoFocus” organized by NCCA in 2014 and 2015 (co-curator) and “Error Message” at the IV Moscow International Biennale of Young Art, 2014 (co-curator).
